The substance of the wave can be occupied by glass, metal or wood. Each material produces a unique and distinct effect.
Glass is defined by what lies beyond it. Characterized by an ever changing scene, glass is a material like none other. Glass can work as a negative or positive space. Frosted, tinted or textured glass can be used to fill the wave on this design. Using glass in this area creates translucency, but nevertheless remains distinct from the top area of the design.
Metal is another creative material to use on the Wave Door Design. Via our unique treatment process, the natural beauty of metal is revealed in our cladding. Each sheet of cladding contains its own detail and distinct heat signatures. All claddings are powder-coated Clear to avoid any need for maintenance. Metal cladding adds dimension and a stark contrast between glass and metal in the modern pivot entry door.
Wood adds a warm and welcoming effect to every door design. Its spectacular tones and distinct grain add natural dimension to the door. No two planks of wood are alike, yet they effortlessly come together. We use only high-quality hardwoods and never laminate. Mahogany, Walnut, Teak and other species are part of our wood collection.
Hardware is an area of high-interest on the front door. Both a visual and tactile experience, door pulls are the focal point of the front door. The Wave Door features its own unique hardware that follows the curved theme of the design. The Wave Pull curves into the door and appears as a functional piece of art. The hardware can remain powder-coated or be finished with a stainless cover.
